It seems Coaches have an ego problem. They think that the answer to all student problem is to spank the kid. If he fought back he would be expelled from the School.

We send our children to school to learn not to be abused. The extra stuff after school is for fun and character building. If am not against spanking. If any one is going to spank a child it should be the parent.  Teacher are suppose to have a College degree to teach. Then why do they act as if they don't have any education.  There are other ways to discipline the student. If the player keeps missing up.
1. Show them how to do, better, help them.
2. I they don't straighten up take them off or let them set out. I understand they may not have a team left.
By spanking he is allowing the student stay on the team for messing up.
3. Who is determining if the messed up.

Bottom line teachers should not spank because the parent is not there. The parent has no control over the spanking.

Our children should be protected while away from home. When students leave for a day at school we have a right to believe they are safe and we would get a call if something is wrong or a note sent home.
